In compliance with the Higher Education Act of 1965, St. Luke’s College of Health Sciences provides information to help students, parents and employees of any entity associated with St. Luke’s University Health Network make informed decisions about post-secondary education. This information covers a variety of topics, including accreditation, financial aid, educational outcomes and non-discrimination policies, among others.

St. Luke’s College of Health Sciences complies with federal Title IV student financial aid regulatory requirements that specify the “consumer information” that must be provided to current and prospective students. A description of the information that is available and how to receive it or find it online follows. Upon request, you are entitled to a paper copy of any of the reports, reference materials, and documents cited on paper or online.

Copyright Policies

The college is committed to maintaining integrity, trust, and honesty in all relationships. Academic integrity lies at the heart of learning, free inquiry, and the search for knowledge. Therefore, all faculty, staff and students are required to abide by principles of academic integrity.

Faculty, staff and students are expected to be familiar with the provisions of U.S. Copyright Law and all associated amendments, provisions, regulations, and rulemakings. To maintain the academic integrity of the College, faculty, staff, and students are responsible for producing only original work. All faculty, staff, and students are prohibited from violating U.S. Copyright Law. The college reserves the right to randomly audit the contents of its technology resources, to monitor user compliance with applicable policies, and to take appropriate action if an infraction is discovered.

The Copyright Act (Title 17 of the U.S. Code) protects authors from the unauthorized use of their works.  The works covered include, but are not limited to:  books, journal articles, music, audiotapes, videotapes, cartoons, computer software, pictures, etc.  It is unlawful to use an author’s work without permission.  The “fair use” guidelines may, in some instances, permit students to use these materials for a course project.  Students are expected to comply with this law.  If unsure whether or not there is a violation of the Copyright Law, instructors or a Librarian should be consulted.
