St. Luke’s College of Health Sciences welcomes applicants with international academic records; however, please review the eligibility requirements carefully before applying.

International Transcripts & Enrollment Eligibility
Visa & Residency Requirement
St. Luke’s College of Health Sciences is not a visa-granting institution. To enroll in any program, applicants must be:
- A U.S. citizen, or
- A U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder).
- We are unable to admit or sponsor students who require an F-1, J-1, or any other student visa.
International High School or Secondary School Transcripts
Applicants who completed high school or secondary education outside the United States must submit official academic records that meet the requirements below.
Transcript Submission Requirements
- Official transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing school or approved entity to St. Luke’s College of Health Sciences.
- Accepted formats include:
- An official transcript issued in English by the school
- An official original-language transcript accompanied by an official English translation
- A certified copy of the original transcript with an official English translation, signed by one of the following:
- School administrator
- U.S. Embassy official
- Ministry of Education official
- U.S. Overseas Advising Office staff member
- Notary Public
- All documents must include an official school signature and stamp.
- Scanned, faxed, photocopied, or student-submitted transcripts are not accepted and will result in an incomplete application.

International College or University Coursework
Applicants with coursework completed at a non-U.S. college or university must submit a credential evaluation from an approved evaluation service.
Credential Evaluation Requirement
Official evaluations must be completed by one of the following approved service providers:
The evaluation must be sent directly to St. Luke’s College of Health Sciences.
- Evaluations submitted by students will not be accepted.
- Only official evaluations received during the admissions process will be considered.
- Only official English-language documents are accepted for evaluation.
- College credit is not awarded for life or work experience.
- Transfer credit evaluations occur after acceptance.
- Applications remain incomplete until all required official documentation is received.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
TOEFL may be required for applicants who are non-native speakers of English to measure their ability to use and understand English as it is spoken, written, and heard.
International Students
If you’re not a United States citizen, you must show proof of permanent resident visa status. Students educated in another country may be admitted if they:
- Satisfy general admission requirements.
- Earn a minimum of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) on the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) administered by the Educational Testing Service of Princeton, New Jersey.
Students from English-speaking countries may choose to take the SAT or ACT as an option to the TOEFL exam. An evaluation of foreign transcripts by the World Education Service or other approved agency is required.
